Hey Everyone,
Tomorrow (December 8th), we have our CC community meeting at 2:00 PM UTC - 10 AM EDT - 10PM CST.
We'll start with our usual release update for v0.3.0 progress.
Next Dan will call for security champions volunteers for some of our projects.
The bulk of the meeting should then be hold by Ming-Wei presentation about Container metadata validation [1].
And we'll finish for another call for presentation, this time for OC3.
As usual, feel free to add more topics for our next meetings [2].
See you all tomorrow!
Cheers,
Samuel.

Greetings everyone & Happy 5th Birthday Kata Containers!

Today is a very exciting day, as December 5th marks the official 5th anniversary of the Kata Containers project! Though I’ve only been around for a few months, it has been such an honor to be permitted to serve such a passionate, intelligent, diverse & welcoming community & I am so very proud of you all. As a small token of our appreciation, all of us at Open Infrastructure Foundation would like to offer some cool Zoom (or desktop) backgrounds[2] to show off your Kata Spirit. As a note, the images have been pre-flipped to account for tricky Zoom settings, but if you’d like them to be re-flipped just let me know & I will add them to the album.
To kick off celebrations of your achievements, let’s start by having a ~*virtual*~ birthday party tomorrow, December 6th during the first part of the Kata Containers Architecture Committee meeting[1]. If you are able to join, please consider using one of the Zoom backgrounds for a group photo (only if you’re comfortable being on camera). If you are planning your own celebration & would like to share with the community, please feel free to share photos, stories, or whatever else you like in #general[3] on Kata Containers Slack.
Congratulations & Happy 5th anniversary to you all. Here’s to another amazing 5 years of Kata!
Cheers,
- trilliams

Hi everyone.
2nd blog in the CoCo blog series published on "Understanding the
Confidential Containers Attestation Flow" from Samuel and Pradipta:
https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/understanding-confidential-containers-attest…
Please help share this blog so we can get more exposure to the CoCo project
:-).
Thanks.
Hey Everyone,
We have our CC community meeting tomorrow at 2:00 PM UTC - 9 AM EST -
10PM CST.
This will be a very busy meeting so we will try to start on time and get
through the community updates quickly before transitioning to two really
interesting topics. First, we will see a presentation about the
Constellation project and try to think about where we might overlap.
Then we will see some benchmark results for shared storage.
We've got a ton of topics to cover before the end of the year. If
there's anything else we should cover, add it to the agenda. [1]
See you soon,
Tobin

Hey Everyone,

Then we'll go over a pretty exciting topic: Building a generic Key Broker Service (KBS), as proposed by Jiale [1].
As usual, feel free to add more topics for our next meetings [2].

Dear Kata Citizen,
The Q&A period is over and I'd like to thank all our candidates for their detailed answers.
It's now time to vote and those of you who have contributed at least once to the Kata Containers project during the past 12 months [1] should have received a voting notification email by now.
If you think you are eligible to vote but have not received that email, please let us know about it.
The voting period ends on November 29th, at 7pm UTC and the results will be announced on November 30th.
Good luck to all six candidates!
Cheers,
Samuel.
