Hello Cocos,
We have our CoCo community meeting tomorrow at the usual time of 2:00 PM
UTC - 10 AM EDT - 10PM CST.
We will briefly recap the v0.9.0 release before talking to an old
friend, THE PROJECT BOARD. We already have some interesting stuff on the
board for v0.10.0 and there are probably a few more things to add.
We'll spend the vast majority of the meeting talking about Intel Trust
Authority, which apparently has a new name.
As usual feel free to add topics for future meetings to the agenda. [1]
See you soon,
Tobin

Hey Everyone,
We have our CoCo community meeting tomorrow at the usual time of 2:00 PM
UTC - 10 AM EDT - 10PM CST.
We'll spend a few minutes talking about some of the fun issues we've run
into with the v0.9.0 release (don't worry, it should still be out soon).
We will also look forward briefly to the v0.10.0 release.
We'll spend most of the meeting hearing an update on Contrast from
Edgeless Systems. [1] We heard a little bit about this offering in a
previous meeting, but they have some cool new features to share.
As usual, feel free to plunk some future topics onto the agenda. [2]
See you soon,
Tobin

The second part of the meeting will driven by Qi Feng from IBM. Qi Feng will be talking

You know this already: We're looking for future topics and discussions. Don't be shy, and add
yours to the meeting agenda [2].

Hey Everyone,
We have our CoCo meeting at the usual time of 2:00 PM UTC - 10 AM EDT -
10PM CST.
We'll briefly talk about the upcoming v0.9.0 release and the incredibly
productive week we're in the middle of.
Most of the meeting we'll be spent digging into KubeArmor, a project
that provides runtime security for Kubernetes. KubeArmor uses EBF and
LSMs. We have an expert on the project coming to talk about, which
should be fascinating.
As usual, if you have a good topic for a future meeting, feel free to
add it to the agenda.[1]
See you soon,
Tobin

The initial part of the meeting will be about project status, the 0.9.0 release and

In the last part, Pei Zhang and Xiangchun Fu will present a demo on CoCo for fraud

And yes, we're looking for future topics and discussions. Don't be shy, and add

Hey Everyone,
We have our CoCo community meeting tomorrow at the usual time of :00 PM
UTC - 10 AM EDT - 10PM CST.
We have a few great topics. First, we'll talk about the release that
just came out, v0.9.0-alpa1. Then we'll talk about v0.9.0, which we hope
to release in 4 weeks.
Our technical topic will be an overview of CoRIM from Thomas. This is
going to be absolutely key to our plans for reference values.
As usual, if you have a good topic for next meeting, please add it to
the agenda. [1]
See you soon,
Tobin

Hi Kata Containers community,
I’m reaching out to you to draw your attention to the new Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Working Group (WG) web page on the OpenInfra website! You can visit it here: https://openinfra.dev/about/diversity
Diversity and inclusion are essential to the success and sustainability of open source communities. The D&I WG is set out to support all OpenInfra communities, including Kata Containers, to help identify and resolve challenges to create and maintain an inclusive and welcoming place for all people to collaborate.
The new web page is a dedicated space where you can learn more about our ongoing efforts to promote D&I within the OpenInfra communities. It provides resources, updates on initiatives, and opportunities for you to get involved in the working group and related activities.
To further these efforts, the working group is encouraging you to participate in the latest D&I survey. Your input is invaluable in helping to understand the current landscape and identify areas for improvement. The survey is completely anonymous, and your responses will remain confidential. Non-sanitized results are not shared outside OpenInfra Foundation staff and board delegates in the D&I Working Group.
You can take the survey multiple times, once for each OpenInfra community you are involved in. Your participation will help us create a more inclusive environment across all our projects.
Take the D&I Survey: https://openinfrafoundation.formstack.com/forms/openinfra_diversity_inclusi…
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to making OpenInfra a welcoming and inclusive community for everyone.
Best Regards,
Ildikó
P.S. Don’t forget to share the D&I survey with your peers within the community to ensure we capture diverse perspectives from across our community!
