Can you share more detail on your RHEL system (which release?, CI
logs?)?

I have tested that QEMU 4.0 compiles on RHEL 7.6.  RHEL 7.6 ships
glib2-devel-2.56.1-2.el7.x86_64 so the error message you have seen
should not occur on this distro release.
