Hi kata-folks I'm planning to create a copy of master branch in the govmm[1] repository called main, main will be the principal branch and master will be archived (if this is possible). I will make the changes needed in the kata-containers repository to support the previous change. Please speak up if you see any inconvenience or disagree with that change. Thanks -- Julio [1]: https://github.com/kata-containers/govmm

Sorry for hoping on your e-mail to extend your proposal, but I sincerely think we should do this change through all the repos in our organization. We already moved the kata-containers and tests repos, the remaining ones are: * https://github.com/kata-containers/www.katacontainers.io * https://github.com/kata-containers/community * https://github.com/kata-containers/ci * https://github.com/kata-containers/cgroups-rs * https://github.com/kata-containers/.github * https://github.com/kata-containers/govmm At least for the sake of consistency, but mainly driven by inclusivity & diversity, I'd like to switch all of those which are still using `master` to use `main` as their default branch Best Regards, -- Fabiano Fidêncio
