Hi,

Thanks for the great work, I tried the instructions and it seems there's a step missing here:

https://github.com/kata-containers/documentation/wiki/Developer-Guide#update-docker-config

The kata-containers.conf was not pulled in before the sed command, the instructions up to
that point worked, I now updated my `/etc/docker/daemon.json` file to include the new runtime as below:

{
        "runtimes": {
                "kata-runtime": {
                        "path": "kata-runtime=/usr/local/bin/kata-runtime"
                }
        }
}

and then I get this:

% sudo docker run -ti --runtime kata-runtime busybox sh
docker: Error response from daemon: shim error: fork/exec kata-runtime=/usr/local/bin/kata-runtime: no such file or directory.

I can confirm the runtime exists:

% ls -l /usr/local/bin/kata-runtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 Jan 29 14:28 /usr/local/bin/kata-runtime -> /usr/local/bin/kata-runtime-cc*

I can also confirm it is in my PATH:

% sudo which kata-runtime
/usr/local/bin/kata-runtime

Let me know further steps I need to take to troubleshoot. Looking forward to playing with this.

Thanks!

Subject: [kata-dev] Kata Containers: Try it out!

Hi All,

As of yesterday, we can run our first Docker containers with Kata!
Congratulations to the all the early contributors, this is a great first milestone.

If you'd like to try it out and hopefully contribute, here is the developer guide:

  https://github.com/kata-containers/documentation/wiki/Developer-Guide

As the document explains, you can now build Kata Containers with either of the two runtimes [1].

The usual warning apply - this is early code.
So if you do happen to find any interesting bugs or problems, please raise an issue here:

  https://github.com/kata-containers/kata-containers/issues/new

Finally, you may have noticed that we have quite a few repositories. To help you understand what they are all for, please see the new "Table of Contents" document here:

  https://github.com/kata-containers/kata-containers/blob/master/README.md

We hope to hear from your feedback soon.

Cheers,
Samuel.
