Greetings everyone, Thank you to everyone who took time to share feedback on current AC meeting scheduling. After reviewing votes on the last framadate survey ([ https://framadate.org/GO2wwx57RTEOxXWG ]( https://framadate.org/GO2wwx57RTEOxXWG )), the majority of voters have elected to keep the architecture meeting at it's current time of 8am ET/ 3PM UTC/ 11PM CST Based on feedback received so far, the current time slot proves to be uncomfortable for a lot of APAC community members, yet rescheduling to an earlier slot would be inconvenient for those on the west coast. As a compromise, I'd like to propose alternating meeting times weekly to better accommodate those on the other side of the globe. Ex: Aug 30th - 8AM PT/ 3PM UTC/ 11pm CST September 6th - 8PM PT/ 3AM UTC/ 11AM CST Sept 13th - 8AM PT/ 3PM UTC/ 11pm CST ... These are only examples as I don't expect anyone to stay awake until 3AM, but if you find the idea worth exploring I would greatly appreciate feedback on APAC-friendly time slots that (hopefully) won't make anyone too miserable. Hey Everyone, Tomorrow (September 1st), we have our CC community meeting at 2:00 PM UTC - 10 AM EDT - 10PM CST Last week we discussed several key topics related to our first release, and as our release deadline approaches, it would certainly make sense to continue those discussions. So we'll start as usual with opens and community updates. Then the enclave-cc maintainers will give us an update about the project. The rest of the meeting should be focused on discussing release related matters: - Schedule for the first release and proposal for upcoming releases - Current status for the operator and its CI - umoci and skopeo removal: Progress and status - Trusted storage related regressions We should be able to resume including more long term discussions and topics to the agenda after our first release is actually done. Boston University Mentorship Program sign-ups

Greetings cool cats & kittens, Thanks to the momentum that you have all created with Kata Containers, the community has been invited by Boston University to participate in a mentorship program centered around the Kata Containers project. The program is part of a senior-level capstone class where a team of 5 students, guided by mentors from various open source projects, collaborate for 5-8 hours a week to learn about new OSS technologies.
