Hi everyone,

It’s time to prepare for the Open Infrastructure Summit and the co-located Project Teams Gathering (PTG) event!

Both events will take place the week of April 29 at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. The Summit runs Mon-Weds and the PTG runs Thurs-Sat. The Kata community has a dedicated space reserved at the PTG all day, Thurs/Fri, May 2-3.

*ACTION*
1) If you’re confirmed to attend the Summit and/or PTG please join the #denver_summit_ptg channel in the Kata Slack group ( bit.ly/KataSlack ) AND also sign up on this etherpad so we can coordinate onsite - https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/Kata_attendance_OpenInfraSummit_PTG_Denver2019

2) We need to start firming up the PTG agenda with discussion topics. Add topics here - https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/katacontainers-2019-ptg-denver-agenda

If you have not yet registered to attend the Summit and/or PTG, please make sure you do before arriving onsite! The Summit Only pass will not gain you entry to the PTG, you need to register for a PTG pass too - https://openinfrasummitandptgdenver.eventbrite.com <https://openinfrasummitandptgdenver.eventbrite.com/>.

The hotel block at the Hyatt Regency still has rooms available, but you must book this week - https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/DENCC/G-FNTE <https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/DENCC/G-FNTE>.

The Kata team photo is scheduled for Thursday, May 2, at 4:20pm.

You can view the full list of participating projects on the PTG schedule - https://www.openstack.org/ptg#tab_schedule <https://www.openstack.org/ptg#tab_schedule>.

Make sure to check out the Open Infrastructure Summit schedule too - https://www.openstack.org/summit/denver-2019 <https://www.openstack.org/summit/denver-2019>.

Let me know if you have any questions. It’s going to be a fun and productive week!

See you soon,
Claire
