Congratulations to everyone on this release! This is a huge milestone not only technically, but for us as an open source community. Since December, you all have come together and worked across companies, across time zones, and with people you’d never met before, and made a new project happen.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, whether that was in commits, reviews, or community organizing, and for all the late nights and early mornings that went into Kata 1.0. If you’re at the OpenStack Summit today, we’ll be having a thank you toast to the Kata contributors at 4:10 in room 217. Every Kata supporter—1.0 contributor or not—is welcome to join.

Congrats and Kata on!
